Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a private, independent engineering school in Bangalore. It was established in 1962 by the late Dr M. S. Ramaiah, the organization’s founding chairman, who was also a visionary and philanthropist. With the help of its approximately 35,000 engineering professionals, RIT Bangalore has developed over the years into one of the numerous prestigious names in engineering education. It is rated first among all engineering institutions affiliated with VTU.
