The institutions are inspired by the pioneering leadership of the late DC Kizhakemuri, whose life as a teacher, freedom warrior, social activist, writer, and inventive publisher gained his love, respect, and goodwill during his lifetime and has persisted to this day. The 2-year curriculum is divided into four semesters, each lasting on average six months. The level of proficiency one must attain in various management parts is confirmed by the internship study and research project completed during the second and fourth semesters.
The curriculum is skillfully created, including insightful research and practical exposure to varied industrial practices. The project studies lay the foundation for the students’ theoretical notions to be applied in practice. One’s leadership and management abilities are improved through experiential learning, broadening one’s professional options. The components of the creatively constructed curricula include case studies, case writing, role plays, group assignments, computer-based exercises, and simulations.
