More than ten lakh students choose B.Tech each year as their career path after completing 12th .There are many entrance examinations that aspirants may apply for to be admitted to some of India’s reputed colleges/universities of engineering. JEE Main
It is one of India’s most popular entrance exam for engineering students. The exam is conducted twice a year. From this year it will be conducted b– by NTA (National Testing Agency) JEE Main exam was conducted by CBSE until 2018.
JEE ADVANCED
The top scorers in JEE Main examination are qualified to appear in JEE Advanced for almost 10,000 seats in 23 IITs. Due to a few seats and its high standard with which the examination is set, it is believed to be one of the most demanding exams and not only just in the list of engineering entrance exams.
BITSAT
BITSAT is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted annually by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Bites) Pilani for admission to Integrated First Degree programs such as BE, Pharma and MSc programs offered by Bites campuses located in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad
VITEEE
The VIT Engineering Entrance Test (VITEEE) is undertaken for admission to 5000 engineering seats by the Vellore Institute of Technology. It is considered one of India’s finest’ private engineering colleges. In addition to two exams (or its equivalent), candidates should also have obtained an average of 60 per cent in PCM / PCB. For candidates from SC / ST / OBC, J&K, and Northeast counties, the median should be 50 per cent.
SRMJEE
It is a B.Tech Engineering joint examination conducted for the SRM University Group that includes colleges such as SRM Institute of Science & Technology, SRM University AP – Amaravati and SRM University Haryana – Sonepat. They also give direct admissions to I First-ranking students from all of India’s Central and State Boards, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each Tamil Nadu district, and outstanding national and international sportspeople.
IPU CET
IPU CET is the entrance exam conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). This engineering entrance exam provides admissions to nearly 6000 seats
in 35 associated public institutions, and 81 affiliated private institutions. These universities are distributed across Delhi NCR. Admissions rely upon mostly on the rank, the IPU CET applicant has attained.
MU-OET
The MU-OET (Online Entrance Test) is conducted by Manipal University.MU-OET’s Engineering Entrance Exam grants candidates admission into the Manipal Institute of Technology. Every year MIT offers nearly 2000 seats in its diverse courses, such as B.
Technology. B. Tech. (Aeronautical Engineering), (Electronics and Machinery Engineering), B. Tech. (Media Technology), etc.
SITEEE
Known initially as SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test), and has since 2018 been renamed SITEEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam). SITEEE is not a compulsory test for all aspirants, because the SITEEE also accepts students in the JEE (Main) exam based on their rank.
