Free University of Berlin

The Free University of Berlin is one of the most recognized universities in the world and is located in Berlin in Germany. It was founded in the year 1948 at the time of early cold war period. This university has 12 departments – Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Department of Earth Sciences, Department of History and Cultural Studies, Department of Ancient Studies, Department of Law, School of Business and Economics, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Department of Education and Psychology, Department of Philosophy and Humanities, Department of Physics, Department of Political and Social Science, Medical School Charité and Department of Veterinary Medicine. Foreign students are allowed to take admission in any of the department of their choice and they are taught in English in this university.
