The department of Management Studies was established during 2006-07 with the mission of developing globally competent managers. The two years programme is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE with the intake of 60 students. The department develops a range of conceptual and analytical skills for dealing with practical management problems of an operational and strategic nature. It formalizes the knowledge and develops the management skills and potential of experienced managers, and provides an environment where insightful interaction takes place between students and staff. The MBA degree programme provides options in Marketing, Finance, Human resource management, Operations Management and System.
