The Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur, a member of the IMT Group, was founded in the year 2004. It is 27 acres of land dedicated to the campus. The government of India's All India Council for Technical Education has given the institute its approval. The National Board of Accreditation has also approved IMT Nagpur. The organisation belongs to the South Indian Association of Management Development Institutions and the AACSB Business Education Alliance (AMDISA). According to the NIRF ranking for 2020, IMT Nagpur is ranked 60th in the management category.
