The department of Management studies was started during the academic year 1993-94 with the intake of 30 students and affiliated by Madurai Kamaraj University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Now the intake is 60 and are affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The department has been maintaining cent percentage of results. The students of this department are highly placed in the industrial segments and in trade/ commercial/ corporate organisations while many of them pursue higher education in India and overseas.
