IMU-KC – Indian maritime university Claim

Indian Maritime University in Vishakhapatnam is established in the year 2018. The Indian Maritime University is one of the most prestigious foundations in India. Their main aim has been maritime studies, training, exploration and extension work for the field. They perfectly train the applicants and ensure that they get good development facilities which will assist them in establishing a good foundation for themselves in their profession. The college has various courses, including B.Tech for Marine Engineering, B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, B.Sc in Nautical Science and BBA in Logistics, Retailing and E-Commerce. 

The residential quarters of National Ship Design and Research Center (NSDRC) workers were renovated and furnished as student convenience for 112 undergraduate and 12 postgraduate male students. It has two separate flats that were prepared only for girls. The Library of the National Ship Design and Research Organization, Visakhapatnam, was established in 1991 and changed the name as Indian Maritime University Library, Visakhapatnam Campus, on 1st April 2009. This is viewed as one of the most mind-blowing Maritime Libraries in India. The library has a collection of 40,000 documents comprising of books and manuals, ship drawings, articles, periodicals and online journals, project reports, norms, reports, national and international periodicals, bound volumes, CD ROMs and gear lists. The library involves an incorporated library management software LIBSYS for different library capacities and LS Digital for managing digital resources.
